Spring Assembly 2026

The 2026 IAND Spring Assembly is scheduled for March 20-21, 2026 at Elements at Water Street in Naperville, IL. The conference facility is affiliated with Hotel Indigo. 

Request for Speaker Proposals

Thank you for your interest in presenting during the 2026 Illinois Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Spring Assembly! We are excited to gather in-person for the 2026 Spring Assembly with an estimated 150+ nutrition and health professionals in attendance.

Presentation Guidelines:
  • Presentations should be 45 minutes in length with time for a 10-15 minute question and answer session following the presentation. A moderator will be present to assist the presenter.
  • The honorarium for each presentation is $500.

  • Complimentary registration for Spring Assembly will be provided to the speaker(s).

All industry leaders are invited to submit education session proposals. IAND will consider proposals centered on the Essential Practice Competencies as established by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Selection will be made on topic relevance as well as the importance and benefit of our members.
 
We encourage proposals focused on cutting-edge research or practical applications. Some key topics of interest include:
  • Pediatric Nutrition
  • Neonatal Nutrition
  • Practical Applications of AI in Dietetics
  • Ethics in Dietetics
  • Updates to DGA 2025-2030
  • Food Policy
Submission Evaluation Criteria
Each submission will be evaluated based on criteria as detailed below
  • The proposal’s overall relevance to the identified topic areas.
  • Cutting-edge or new information.
  • Importance and benefit to the Illinois Academy members. 
  • Applicant’s experience in practice or research.

1. Presentation title
2. Brief summary of presentation
3. Learning objectives (3)
4. CDR performance indicators (3)

5. Speaker(s) information such as bio, professional headshot, and resume.

All proposals are due prior to September 26, 2025, at 5:00 pm CST by electronic submission. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered. Speakers will be notified of the chosen proposals via email no later than November 3rd, 2025.
