National Nutrition Month

National Nutrition Month^® is an annual campaign established in 1973 by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. During the month of March, everyone is invited to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits. 

The theme for National Nutrition Month® 2025 is "Food Connects Us."

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day

Celebrated on the second Wednesday in March during National Nutrition Month^®, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day increases awareness of registered dietitian nutritionists as the indispensable providers of food and nutrition services and recognizes RDNs for their commitment to helping people enjoy healthy lives.

Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered Day

Celebrated on the second Thursday in March during National Nutrition Month^®, Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered Day commemorates the contributions and experience of NDTRs in the delivery of safe, culturally competent, quality food and nutrition services.
